Why am I giving away this Leaders Protocol? Well, there are a couple reasons. First, the number of poorly managed & failing businesses is staggering and worst of all... unnecessary. * SMALL BUSINESSES - half of all new businesses will not survive 5 years. Often poor management is given as the root cause. * BIG BUSINESSES - look at today's Fortune 500 vs 50 years ago... vs. 10 years ago - the number of missing companies from both... is huge - largely due to failures, again from poor management. This is particularly sad... as they had many years of high financial success and strong profits... but then their leadership, well it screwed up. * ROUTINE BUSINESS HEADLINES - too often we hear pathetic, lame excuses from CEO's trying to justify their poor performance, their poor leadership. Translation - big, small or in-between... the amount of horrible leadership and the devasting impact it has on their employees... this is sickening, to me, and preventable. Additionally, now that I'm well into my 7th decade... I would like to pass along my knowledge, business savvy, insights... wisdom to a younger generation in the hopes they will help fix this business mess. You may have done a SWOT analysis in the past, but let's update it and put it in writing. Make this a quick process... all four should be done it approx. 15 minutes. SWOT... "Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats". This is your assessment of each, use the 1 - 10 scale plus add relevant comments... you will need them later.

Again, put these in writing. The next day... read them again, to see if you feel any adjustments are needed. Now, turn to someone either in the business or outside that knows the business well and ask them to do the same SWOT analysis. Be sure not to bias them. Now using their input, update your SWOT, if you see fit. We will use this later, so be sure to create your final written version... (1 - 10) ranking... plus relevant comments.

This step will require a large amount of work on your part... on your second read... as you attempt to accurately assess your own skills in 13 crucial areas. Be sure to select a good time to start STEP 3, when you can really focus without distractions, this will likely require several secessions to complete.
